Tohill adds to Rules panel

Preparations continue for Saturday night’s big throw-in, as Ireland finalise their series squad.

AS THE AUSTRALIANS prepare on Leeside ahead of a practice game at Pairc Ui Rinn with a Cork colleges selection this evening (6pm), Ireland boss Anthony Tohill has added to his squad.

The Sunday Game pundit has drafted in Offaly’s Niall McNamee and Kildare’s Emmet Bolton ahead of Saturday’s first International Rules Test at the Gaelic Grounds.

Down forward Benny Coulter is ruled out through injury which is  a major blow to the hosts’ hopes of retaining the Cormac McAnallen Cup, while All-Ireland winner with Cork Michael Shields has pulled out as he has decided to play in the county SFC final for St Finbarr’s in Páirc Uí Chaoimh on Sunday.
