TIPPERARY HAVE BEEN boosted the the return of Mahers, Padraic and Patrick, ahead of their Allianz Division 1A tie with Galway in Pearse Stadium this Sunday [2pm throw-in].
Tipp boss Eamon O’Shea has made six changes from the side that were heavily beaten by Clare in Thurles last weekend. Conor O’Mahony and Padraic Maher have been drafted into the half back line while there are four alterations in the forward ranks.
Conor Kenny and Patrick Maher come into a revamped half forward line while Seamus Callanan and Michael Heffernan start, respectively, and full and right corner forward. The players to drop out of the starting 15 include Thomas Stapleton, Tomas Hamill, Kieran Bergin, Paddy Murphy, Jason Forde and Shane Bourke.
The Premier County have just one win to their name, thus far, in Division 1A. they comfortably defeated Waterford in the opening round but have leaked both goals and points in successive losses to Kilkenny and Clare.
