ALL-IRELAND CHAMPIONS Tipperary have named an unchanged side for Sunday’s semi-final against Dublin in Croke Park.
Declan Ryan has kept faith in the Premier players who romped to a 7-19 to 0-19 win over Waterford five weeks ago.
That means that there is no place in the starting line-up for last season’s young hurler of the year Brendan Maher, though the Borrisileigh man has recovered from the ankle injury which sidelined him for the early part of the Championship.
Up front, John O’Brien retains his place alongside Eoin Kelly and Lar Corbett in a full-forward line which scored a combined 10-27 in Tipp’s three Munster Championship outings.
Meanwhile, Dublin boss Anthony Daly has plenty of injury headaches as he prepares to name his team later on this evening.
David Treacy withdrew from the panel earlier in the week after tearing his hamstring while Cuala clubmate Oisín Gough has a broken hand.
Tomás Brady, Conal Keaney – who was hurt in a motorcycle accident before the quarter-final win against Limerick – and Stephen Hiney have all been ruled out with cruciate knee injuries.
TIPPERARY: Cummins; Stapleton, Curran, Cahill; O’Keeffe, O’Mahony, Pádraic Maher; Ryan, S McGrath; N McGrath, Callanan, Patrick Maher; Kelly, O’Brien, Corbett.
This has nothing to do with Ben Davies though
