Tim Sherwood allows fan to manage Spurs for final five minutes of Villa victory

The Tottenham boss invited the supporter to take his seat in the home dug-out.

TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR ENDED their Premier League season by defeating Aston Villa 3-0 at White Hart Lane to secure a place in next season’s Europa League.

Spurs were comfortable winners and their boss, Tim Sherwood, felt so relaxed that he allowed a supporter to manage his side for the final five minutes. With the game easing towards a finish, Sherwood turned to a section of the home fans and pulled out the fan.

Sherwood offered the fan his Spurs gilet [body-warmer] and pointed him to the dug-out and a seat beside his assistant Les Ferdinand.
