Tiger Woods is in some pain following this really unfortunate shot

Tiger is slipping down the leaderboard as the Masters reaches its climax.

TIGER WOODS HASN’T managed to launch a Sunday charge at the Masters.

Woods played the front nine in one-over, leaving him on -5 and a massive 12 shots adrift of leader Jordan Spieth.

There were a few anxious moments following this approach shot from the pines on the ninth. Woods caught his ball cleanly but also struck a piece of tree root hidden beneath the pines.

Painful stuff, as you can see from his reaction.

Tiger went on to make a par four, but his right wrist was still causing him some discomfort as he hit his drive on the 10th, where he also made bogey.

The four-time Masters winner has played great stuff at times this week, putting his terrible run of injuries behind him, only for this to happen. Unfortunate doesn’t do it justice.
