IT’S VALENTINE’S DAY, but Derry forward Paddy Bradley won’t be expecting a card and flowers from many Oak Leaf supporters.
Last week the Glenullin star was due to set off on a short break away in New York.
Instead he committed himself to county duty and was Derry’s leading scorer in a heavy 2-15 to 0-9 defeat to Tyrone in Omagh.

Naturally enough, Bradley, 30, was more than bit peeved at having given up his expected trip away and on Friday he tweeted that “sometimes this football would piss the hell out of you.”
That show of emotion angered some fans on Foyleside, and Bradley was hit with abuse on Twitter and in Omagh questioning his commitment to the jersey.
Yesterday, the All-star resisted the impulse to respond in kind and instead clarified the matter.
Bradley reiterated that playing for the county was his choice, but would not apologise for expressing annoyance having lost out on the holiday and much of the money spent organising it.
And to those questioning his commitment, Bradley offered an open invitation: “Come spend a week with me and see how I train and look at the time put in.”
Tiff: Derry fans fall out of love with Bradley
