THE TICKETS FOR August’s pre-season friendly between Liverpool and Celtic at the Aviva Stadium went on sale this morning – but were soon snapped up.
Last week, Neil Lennon was in Ireland to announce details of the game, branded ‘The Dublin Derby’ by organisers, which see the Reds meet the Hoops on August 10.
Both teams have promised to field strong sides so there was likely to be high demand for tickets from fans of both clubs living in Ireland.
They were scheduled to go on sale at 9.30am this morning for between €25-€55 for an adult and €10 for U16s accompanied with an adult.
However, before 11am Ticketmaster tweeted that the game had sold out:
