WHEN YOU’RE PUTTING up stats that haven’t been seen since Michael Jordan 25 years ago… well, that’s pretty impressive.
Russell Westbrook exploded in Game 4 last night as the Oklahoma City Thunder beat the San Antonio Spurs 105-92 to level the Western Conference finals at two games apiece.

Westbrook finished with 40 points, 10 assists and five steals in game where pretty much everything went right for OKC.
The only other player to finish with a 40-10-5 line in a playoff game was Jordan back in 1989, ESPN report.
Now after trailing 2-0, the Thunder have set themselves up as legitimate contenders in the West.
Two years ago, they came from two games down to beat the Spurs and clinch the conference title.
With 6’10″ Serge Ibaka back and fit after missing the opening two games, they look a completely different prospect.
But Games 5 and 6 are back in Texas on Thursday and Saturday so if the Thunder are to pull off another miraculous comeback, they’ll need to do something neither side has managed so far in this series — win on the road.
