10. Oh dear, Giggsy. The Manchester United winger is in all types of family trouble at the moment.
This clip resurfaced amidst it all:
9. Alec Baldwin (30 Rock) and John Krasinski (The US Office) have appeared in an excellent series of ads in America for… essentially the Red Sox/Yankees rivalry.
8. We’ve been trying to follow the ice hockey finals for the past couple of weeks. It works as a nice complement to the white-hot basketball action every second night or so.
As Deadspin explain:“A match between Termeno and Dro, two clubs in Italy’s lower division, went to penalty kicks earlier in the week. A Termeno player’s attempt hit the crossbar, and as the Dro keeper sprinted towards his teammates in celebration, the ball came down with enough backspin to carry it into the net. Termeno will advance to a higher serie next season with the win, reminding us all that we should never count out the physics.
6. We tried to ignore this story during the week – but heck, we’re romantic.
Stephen Ireland - instead of being midfield in Skopje – hired a boat of America’s west coast and proposed to his girlfriend. And someone video taped it.
5. We launched a new series which – in theory – brings you behind the camera in some of our favourite YouTube clips.

In the premiere of I Shot That!, we spoke to a man who uploaded raw footage of Jonny Sexton’s try in Cardiff last month.
4. Clint Dempsey tries a scorpion kick. they should have given him the goal anyway.
3. Ronaldo (the real one) bade farewell to football after a career creaking under achievement and magical moments. Nike said goodbye the only way they know how: with a cool viral ad.
2. We had one of our ‘Twestion Times’ with Dublin footballer Bernard Brogan. We were going to bring it up ourselves but he mentioned this YouTube clip himself.
When he lost his passport, a group of young lads made Bernard Brogan: the movie. They, apparently, didn’t know who he was at the time.
1. Our new man in the office, Paul Fenenssy, compiled a list of his 10 favourite sports documentaries during the week.
It caused plenty of debate. I’m looking forward to seeing this over the weekend though.
