5 images that sum up the wide variety of golf fans at the Open

Everything from fake tigers to Rickie Fowler look-a-likes were on display on Saturday.

SATURDAY’S BRITISH OPEN saw a wide range of golf fans, both young and old, take to the Muirfield course to cheer on their favourite pros.

As you know by now, Lee Westwood holds a two shot lead but Tiger Woods and Hunter Mahan, as well as US Masters Champion Adam Scott, are all poised to strike.

However, while the action on the course was captivating enough, the fans also provided ample entertainment.

First there was the group of Tiger fans who went all out to honour their hero:
