BOD, Joe Schmidt and Hozier starred in The Nativity in this morning's Gift Grub

It turns out Tommy Bowe is the the saviour of Irish rugby while there was also a dig at Ray D’Arcy.

WE’VE GOT TO hand it to Mario Rosenstock — this morning’s Gift Grub was particularly excellent.

‘The Nativity: Rugby Style’ sees Joe Schmidt play Joseph and Ronan O’Gara as Mary with the pair receiving direction from the voice of BOD as they go in search of the saviour of Irish rugby.

On their journey, they cross paths with the likes of George Hook, Paul O’Connell, Bono, Christy Moore, Gay Byrne and Hozier while there’s a joke at the expense of Ray D’Arcy, who this week left Today FM for RTÉ.
