The Morning Score: Monday

The working week will culminate in that first play-off in Estonia this Friday. Kick it off the right way.

1. #FAI CUP Sligo Rovers are waking up as FAI Cup champions once again.

The Bit O’ Red sealed a second Aviva Stadium showpiece win in a row, thanks to the goalkeeping heroics of Ciaran Kelly in the shoot-out, who saved two after being introduced late on.

Here’s how it happened.

2. #EURO2012 In good news for Giovanni Trapattoni, Robbie Keane scored to help the LA Galaxy into the MLS play-off final last night.

The Dubliner struck the final goal in a 3-1 victory over Real Salt, setting up a decider with Houston Dynmamo at the Home Depot Center in two weeks’ time.

3. #PREMIER LEAGUE It was another busy day of top-flight action in England yesterday with wins for Spurs, Wolves and Bolton – who routed Stoke 5-0, in revenge for last season’s FA Cup final capitulation.

Catch up with how it happened here.

4. #GAA It was an action-packed weekend of club finales around the country with the likes of Dr Crokes, Corofin and St Brigid’s celebrating senior football titles this morning. We’ll have a full round down later in the morning.

5. #REDS Keith Earls will undergo a scan today in a bid to determine how badly he’s injured.

The Munster man had to be helped from the pitch at the Aviva Stadium in the opening minutes of the Reds’ PRO12 clash with Leinster and he is expected to be sidelined for at least a month.

6. #GOLF Steve Willians will not have any action taken against him by PGA or European Tour officials, it has been confirmed.

Tour officials released a joint statement on Sunday, in response to anger over very questionable comments made by the New Zealander about his former boss Tiger Woods  at the annual caddie’s awards dinner in China on Friday.
