The Morning Score: Good Friday

Are you in work? We’re not the only ones in work right?

Every morning TheScore.ie serves up the stories you need to know with your morning coffee.

1.  #HEINEKEN CUP Munster and Ulster will name their sides for the massive interprovincial at Thomond Park this weekend. Leinster face Cardiff at the Aviva Stadium tomorrow of course. We’re giving away two tickets, if you’re interested.

2. #US MASTERS Lee Westwood has a first-round lead at Augusta. The Englishman rattled off four straight birdies on the front side yesterday en route to a stress-free round of five-under-par 67 at the Masters, where he’s still trying to win his first major championship.

Rory McIlroy shot one-under 71 — as did Padraig Harrington — Tiger Woods finished with a pair of bogeys to shoot even-par 72.

3. #EUROPA LEAGUE After last night’s Europa League action, we now know Spanish clubs will dominate the final four. La Liga side’s Valencia and Atletico Madrid will meet in one semi-final while on their side of the draw Athletic Bilboa are to face Sporting Lisbon.

4. #GAA As if we didn’t have enough sport to look forward to this weekend, there’s the final round of National Football League action too. Expect a lot of team news throughout the day but last night Cork named their side for the game with Dublin…and it includes talisman Graham Canty.

5. #PREMIER LEAGUE There’s a game on today you know? Newcastle look to keep their impressive quest for European football on track as the visit Swansea’s Liberty Stadium. We’ll liveblog the action throughout; here’s a preview.

6. #LOI As always, we’ll be slugging tea with the best of them at an Airtricity League press box tonight. This evening, Niall will be at Richmond Part for St Pat’s meeting with champions Shamrock Rovers, as well as keeping an eye on the rest of the action.

Ben caught up with Saints’ James Chambers yesterday.

Poll: Then there were four — but who’ll win the Champions League?
