TG4 announce a raft of live games for the new GAA season

Kildare’s O’Byrne Cup final meeting with Meath will be the first in an action-packed year of coverage for the channel.

TG4 HAVE REVEALED their busy schedule of live matches for the year ahead.

Coverage begins this coming Sunday when Kildare face Meath in the O’Byrne Cup final at Newbridge (2pm) and will feature games from competitions including the football and hurling leagues, the All-Ireland club hurling and football championships, the All-Ireland  U21 football championship and the Sigerson and Fitzgibbon Cup finals.

“We are looking forward to a new season of live gaelic games coverage on TG4 which brings new hopes for many teams and new managers,” says TG4′s Rónán Ó Coisdealbha.

We will also get a chance to see how the much-discussed new referee’s black-card rule is being implemented.”
