Texas A and M's historic comeback shows exactly why they call it March Madness

The Aggies overturned a 12-point deficit in the final 34 seconds last night.

TEXAS A&M LOOKED to be on their way out of college basketball’s national tournament last night when they trailed Northern Iowa by 12 points with just 34 seconds remaining.

However, they outscored their opponents 14-2 over the last half minute to force overtime before going on to record a 92-88 double overtime win.

How unlikely was the comeback?

Well, according to NumberFire — an analytics branch of Fan Duel fantasy sports — Northern Iowa had a 99.99% chance of winning the game with 34 seconds remaining.

No wonder they call it March Madness.
