Manager Mickey Ned O’Sullivan recalls Fionnán Clifford to the half-back line while Kieran Murphy is picked to partner Kevin Shanahan in midfield.

Up front Shane O’Connor, who started the drawn game against Cork, returns to lead the line from full-forward.
