Kiwi commentators loses his mind over 'Greatest pass I've ever seen'

Coming from a country that has produced Justin Marshall, Christian Cullen and Carlos Spencer, that’s saying something.

THE HIGHLANDERS ARE dead and buried in this year’s Super Rugby and the shovel has been thrown back in the shed.

Bran Thorn’s team took on the wildcard chasing Crusaders of Canterbury and had nothing to lose but another rugby match. Perhaps that is why Tamati Ellison decided to unfurl a stunning, out-the-back-door as he was falling to the turf.

The suck it and see pass looped into the grateful mitts of Ben Smith, who duly dived over to give the home side the lead. Look at how happy the pass made this two ladies in the front row:

The Sky commentators started off by screaming and yelping so much it was hard to make out any actual words. As the replays rolled, one commentator described the pass as ‘the greatest I have ever seen’. Coming from a Kiwi in the land of the All Blacks, that is saying something.
