WHILE SOME RELISH the all-too rare physicality involved in football, many others aren’t quite as brave when it comes to situations like the one below.

With both players involved looking set to meet head-on in a 50/50 challenge, one slows up at the last moment – leaving his opponent free to swing a boot at the ball and inadvertently send it rocketing into his own net.

We don’t blame the scorer, whose name is Sam Hanson according to the amateur commentator, for allowing himself a smile after that strike.
