Do you agree with the Sunday Game's Man of the Match selection?

Did the experts get it right?

KILKENNY POWERED THROUGH to yet another All-Ireland hurling final yesterday, after a 1-21 to 18 point win against Waterford in Croke Park.

The Cats made it 14 finals in 17 years under Brian Cody, continuing their hoodoo over their neighbours that stretches back to the 1959 All-Ireland final, the last time the Déise lifted Liam.

A number of players stood out for the reigning champions, and the trio trusted with the task of selecting the man of the match on the Sunday Game last night were Donal Óg Cusack, Eddie Brennan and Ger Loughnane.

Obviously, with a haul of 1-9, TJ Reid was given a nomination, along with is teammate Cillian Buckley who chipped in with a point, while Darragh Fives of Waterford impressed the panel enough to get mentioned.

However, neither Buckley nor Fives could do anything to stop Reid picking up the prize, with the panel smitten on the forward’s display, with Cusack suggesting the Ballyhale Shamrocks star “could surpass any of the greats, and Loughnane adding that his “unselfish workrate and leadership” were a key weapon in his arsenal, rather than just his scoring power.
