ULSTER HAVE CONFIRMED they expect Stuart Olding to miss the rest of the season after picking up a knee injury when playing for the Ravens on Friday night.
The 20-year old, who can play a number of positions including full-back, out-half or centre, sustained an injury to his right knee playing the Connacht Eagles at Deramore Park.
A scan on Monday revealed a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament that will require surgery; though a date for the procedure is yet to be set.
A statement from Ulster this evening said Olding is expected to miss the rest of the season following the operation.
