ENGLAND’S GRAEME STORM has taken the lead in the second round of the European Masters in Switzerland.
Storm shot five birdies in his first five holes to move from six under par to ten under. The Englishman was joint second yesterday, behind 17-year-old Italian Matteo Manassero.
Edoardo Molinari birdied three of his first four to propel the Johnnie Walker winner into contention. The Italian is playing his last competition before the Ryder Cup begins in Celtic Manor on 1 October.
After 23 holes, Molinari still hadn’t dropped a shot. Compatriot Manassero was among the later starters and was joined on seven under by Finn Mikko Ilonen when he resumed with a birdie four, PA reports.
