FORMER BRAZIL MANAGER Dunga could be set to sue QPR as he bids to recover a sum of money he loaned to the club in 2006.
The former midfielder, who captained Brazil to victory in the 1994 World Cup, claims he loaned the club £750,000 in 2006 when they were in financial difficulty and that the Premier League side’s new owners – including Flavio Briatore and Bernie Ecclestone – must agree to pay it back.
The 47-year-old has ordered his lawyers Collyer Bristow to pursue the matter in the High Court if necessary.
Steven Heffer, of Collyer Bristow, said: “I can confirm I have been instructed by Carlos Dunga to issue proceedings in the High Court to recover the money he lent to QPR.”
