Eight Steven Gerrard stunners ahead of game 400 as Liverpool captain

The Reds inspirational midfielder will reach the landmark against Swansea this evening.

STEVEN GERRARD WILL captain Liverpool for the 400th time when he leads his side out against Swansea tonight.

The English midfielder was handed the captain’s armband for the first time by Gerard Houllier, in October 2003, for a European tie with Olimpija Ljubljana. Gerrard has stepped up just when his time needed him on many occasions since becoming captain. Here are seven of his finest moments.
