Pupils at Steph Roche's old school prove that her goal was the best

Still not sure which goal deserves your vote? Ask the pupils of Scoil Mhuire Shankill.

THERE ARE ONLY a few days left to vote for Stephanie Roche to win the FIFA Puskas Award.

As Monday’s award ceremony in Zurich draws closer, the pupils of Roche’s alma mater, Scoil Mhuire Shankill, produced this video to round up some late support.

Roche’s goal is the not only better than Robin van Persie’s and James Rodriguez’s, they argue, but it’s also harder to recreate.

Great goal and all and im aure she is a quality player but come on she scored it against wexford youths womens team.

Not Spain or Uruguay in a world cup.

Not saying i could score a goal like that cause i couldnt kick my way out of a paper bag

But you will see a goal of its calibre at any astroturf around the country.

I can’t wait for her not to win it so we don’t have to keep hearing about it
