YOUR NEW FAVOURITE basketball player Steph Curry was crowned the NBA’s Most Valuable Player on Sunday — and it wasn’t even close.
The Golden State Warriors superstar topped the poll, taking 100 of the 130 first-preference votes available. By comparison James Harden, who finished second, got 25 and LeBron James got the remaining five.
What has Curry done that has been so impressive?

Well, the Warriors had the best regular season record in the league and that’s largely down to Curry who had more points (23.8), assists (7.7) and steals (2.04) than anyone else on the team.
He also made a frankly ridiculous 286 three-pointers, breaking his own NBA record in the process.
So yeah, he’s been pretty good.
And as the Warriors took Game 1 of the Western Conference semis against the Memphis Grizzlies on Sunday night, he produced the latest moment in a highlight-reel season with this behind-the-back pass to Draymond Green.
The fact that he finished with 22 points, two rebounds and seven assists seems almost inconsequential.
Another effortlessly cool piece of brilliance from the new NBA MVP, Steph Curry
