No manager, no problem - German club use masked man for unveiling of new signing

St Pauli improvised brilliantly earlier.

WHAT DO YOU do if your manager isn’t around to unveil a new signing? St Pauli found an ingenious way to solve that very problem.

The German second-tier side had completed a deal for Borussia Dortmund striker Marvin Ducksch but their manager Ewald Lienen wasn’t there to pose alongside the 22-year-old for photographs.

But instead of going without, St Pauli used a stand-in who wore a mask with Lienen’s face on it.

    They need to teach proper tackling technique in the NFL… too many players feel invincible with the pads and just fling themselves into eachother like missiles

    Apparently the Seahawks work with an ex rugby union coach and this is why their tackling is so good and leads to less injuries, they tackle with their arms and shoulders rather than their heads like most teams.
