The Spurs trounced the Thunder by 35 points last night - so is it game over for Durant and OKC?

San Antonio are steamrolling their way back to the NBA Finals.

IT’S GETTING WORSE for the Thunder, not better.

Given a chance to prove that there is life after Serge Ibaka and that their Game 1 flub was an off-night, Oklahoma City crashed to a 112-77 defeat against the San Antonio Spurs last night.

If Kevin Durant wants to add an NBA ring to his MVP crown, he and his team-mates need a miracle.

They got one two years ago when they trailed the Spurs 2-0 before bouncing back to steal the 2012 Western Conference Finals series.

On the basis of last night’s performance, a repeat seems unlikely.

Tony Parker scored 22 and Danny Green chipped in with seven three-pointers as the Spurs romped to a 35-point win on their home court.

Game 3 is in Oklahoma City on Sunday night.
