Title: Batmen: The Story of Irish Cricket

Released: June 2013

Plot: With Ireland’s third appearance at the Cricket World Cup fast approaching, it would be an ideal time to get yourself in the mood for more giant killing by watching the brilliant Batmen documentary.

Directed by Maurice Sweeney and written by cricket journalist Gerrard Siggins, Batmen traces the sport’s growth from its early days to the historic giant killings of recent years, not least the stunning upset of England at the 2011 World Cup.
