ANTHONY FITZGERALD WAITED a long time for his shot at Gary ‘Spike’ O’Sullivan.

When he finally got it on Saturday evening, he was KOd after just 75 seconds.

The Irish middleweight rivals met in Dublin’s 3Arena on the undercard of Jorge Sebastian Heiland’s win over Matthew Macklin.

The fiery build-up carried over into the ring but the grudge match was over as quickly as it started, O’Sullivan landing a devastating uppercut early in the first round that gave the Dubliner no chance of recovering.
