RTÉ commentator George Hamilton has tweeted that Trap’s sister is in hospital and this is the reason he’s heading straight home.

Trapattoni was scheduled to travel to Dublin to face the media for his usual briefing at the Clarion Hotel tomorrow evening but instead will now return to his homeland.
