Sad Sochi bear is the symbol of Russia's ice hockey heartbreak

When the Russian ice hockey team loses, a nation cries.

IF FILMS HAVE taught us anything, it’s that the Russians are good at ice hockey. Intimidatingly good.

But they are out of the Olympics after losing 3-1 to Finland in the quarter-finals.

It’s a bit embarrassing to say the least and the home crowd weren’t afraid to let them know, booing them off the ice.

If there’s one silver lining, it’s this picture of Sochi Bear (we presume that’s his name) which is heartbreaking and hilarious in equal measure.
