RTÉ WILL DEBUT a new Irish football magazine programme next month, the station have confirmed.
Soccer Republic will first air on 10 March and is pencilled in for a regular 11.05pm slot.
The move marks the demise of popular League of Ireland highlights show Monday Night Soccer which ran since 2008. The station’s rights agreement with the FAI for Airtricity League highlights expired after last season.
The new programme will, we’re told, cover more than the domestic game though they will feature every Premier Division goal.
