That looks painful: Robert Huth needed 28 stitches after a nasty collision with Franco Di Santo

ROBERT HUTH WAS left with an ugly gash above his eye after clashing heads with an opponent last night.

The Stoke defender collided with Wigan striker Franco Di Santo which resulted in the pair having to wear Terry Butcher-style bandages for the remainder of the match.

After the final whistle, the German international had to receive 28 stitches but seemed to take it well as he tweeted:
