Cretaro opened the scoring on 16 minutes, blasting home from just outside the box to give the hosts the advantage.
The score stayed the same until just after half-time, when Djilali latched on to Anthony Elding’s headed through ball, before producing a consummate finish.
The win means Sligo jump ahead of Derry City in the league table, and are now just four points behind leaders St Pat’s.
