Fashion forwards: Sligo to debut new KUKRI jerseys this season

Sligo are the first county to adopt the GAA new boys as their official kit supplier.

SLIGO DON’T NEED to worry about another county stealing their look this season.

The Yeats men will wear KUKRI jerseys after they announced a three-year deal with the GAA’s newest kit supplier last night.

Here’s how it looks:

KUKRI, whose Irish office is based in Lisburn, already makes kit for a number of GAA clubs as well as Ulster Rugby and All-Ireland Ladies Champions Cork.

The international sportswear brand was awarded a GAA licence late last year and this deal sees Sligo become the first county to adopt it as official supplier.

Sligo also renewed their sponsorship with Radisson Blu Hotel & Spa, Sligo, as well as announcing a new sponsor in IT Sligo.

The institute’s logo will appear on the back of the jersey following a recent change in GAA regulations which allows for an additional sponsor.
