Stoke and Liverpool in first televised game of the season as Sky and BT reveal schedules

It won’t be long now.

The spotlight will be on Mark Hughes in his first game as Stoke manager after the clash was moved for television coverage as BT Sport begin their campaign. The new service’s games will be shown on Setanta Sports here.

David Moyes’ Manchester United reign will also begin on television with their trip to Swansea City chosen as the late game on the opening day.   Jose Mourinho’s return to Chelsea will be in full focus the day after as Chelsea’s home clash with hull City will be aired after another promoted club, Crystal Palace, host Tottenham on TV.

Fans can expect a treat on 1 September, when a double-header will see great rivals Liverpool and Manchester United square off before a north London derby between Arsenal and Tottenham.   The first Manchester derby of the season will also be aired on 22 September on Sky.
