The ending of Skerries vs Banbridge needs to be made into a rugby movie

The moment after the conversion hits the bar is perfectly cinematic.

SKERRIES HOSTED BANBRIDGE in a mid-table clash in the Ulster Bank League division 2a yesterday and in injury time, the home side were looking for a try to overturn a 17-12 deficit.

Eddie O’Mahony squeezed over in the corner and then Conal Keane had a kick to get the win. If a decent rugby movie is ever made, this has to be how the big final finishes.

Top marks to the Banbridge player who tried to push the ball back over the bar. That should definitely be made legal at the next World Rugby rules meeting.
