VIDEO: Shia LaBeouf releases his inner Eric Cantona

The Hollywood actor used the famous ‘seagulls’ quote before walking out of a press conference for his new film.

TRANSFORMERS STAR SHIA LaBeouf borrowed a line made famous by Eric Cantona at the Berlin Film Festival yesterday.

LaBeouf, who was at a press conference for his new film Nymphomaniac, was asked a question about the sex scenes and responded:

When the seagulls follow the trawler it is because they think sardines will be thrown into the sea.”

He then stood up and walked out of the room before bizzarely turning up to the premiere with a paper bag on his head.

Former Manchester United striker Cantona came out with the quote at a press conference back in 1996 after his ‘kung-fu’ kick on a fan at Selhurst Park.
