SHEFFIELD UNITED HAVE launched an investigation into comments made by their reserve defender Connor Brown on Twitter, regarding the Ched Evans rape conviction.
Brown launched a vicious attack on Evans’ 19-year-old victim as well as the UK’s legal system, which he branded ‘a load of f*****g s**t.’

He then moved his focus on to the girl at the centre of the trial.
“If ur a slag ur a slag don’t try get money from being a slag [sic]… Stupid girls… I feel sick,” he wrote, after branding the victim a ‘money grabbing little tramp.’

Sheffield United confirmed today that an internal investigation is underway into social media comments made by reserve team player Connor Brown following the verdict in the Ched Evans trial.
A club spokesman said: “The club is aware of a very serious matter regarding comments made through the Twitter account of one of its players. As a result we have launched an inquiry.”
