Shay Given spent his Friday night at Donegal county training

He didn’t keep a clean sheet, but he did pose for at least one selfie.

DONEGAL CALLED IN an extra experienced head for tonight’s training session, Ireland’s second-most capped footballer, Shay Given.

This Vine shot by the Donegal Democrat’s Alan Foley is a little far away (there’s no zoom on Vine, you see), but we’d recognise the mechanics of that kick-out anywhere.

There’s Shay getting chipped by Paddy McGrath.

After training, the Lifford man met with captain Michael Murphy, presumably wondering what his chances of taking the number 14 shirt were like.

Obviously, there was no way Given was getting out of there without posing for at least one selfie.
