Galway's Shane Walsh turns skill levels to '11' with outrageous score

Cushioned volley with the right, spin and score with the left. QED.

GALWAY LEAD TIPPERARY by six points at half-time in their All-Ireland SFC qualifier.

The Tribesmen are ahead thanks, in large part, to goals from Tom Flynn and Fiontan O Curraoin but the major talking point of the opening 35 was a marvellous piece of skill from Shane Walsh.

The Kilkerrin-Clonberne man controlled a wayward ’45 by cushioning it with his right foot before spinning to score with his left.
