Irish winger Shane Monahan scorches in a hat-trick for Gloucester

The 27-year-old from Meath made a match-winning impact off the bench this weekend.

GLOUCESTER’S IRISH WINGER Shane Monahan came off the bench this weekend to deliver a match-winning performance that included a hat-trick of tries.

The 27-year-old, who appeared in the Ireland U20 team that won the 2007 Six Nations Grand Slam, has had an injury hit season but, once again, gave fans a taster of his undoubted finishing talents. His treble inspired Gloucester to a 38-30 win over London Irish at Kingsholm.
