The 27-year-old star was a promising hurler in his early years, appearing for Tipperary at minor level, before eventually settling on a career in soccer.

The 27-year-old star was a promising hurler in his early years, appearing for Tipperary at minor level, before eventually settling on a career in soccer.
However, he was back in Tipp colours yesterday, as he cheered on the team during their frenetic All-Ireland SHC qualifier against Galway.
