Shane Curran accepts Ming Flanagan's challenge, does pull-ups in his shirt and tie

Ah Shane, you could have at least changed into your gym gear.

AFTER TAKING PART in the #shrednomination fitness challenge, independent TD Luke ‘Ming’ Flanagan threw down the gauntlet to fellow Rossie Shane Curran.

The madcap GAA keeper followed suit yesterday, hitting the gym to do 20 pull-ups in his shirt and tie.

Here’s the proof… sort of. We only count 11 in the video but we’ll take Shane at his word.

“I’m absolutely jiggered after that,” Curran told Shannonside FM. “But Luke, I think I’ve proved I can do it — and I’m double your weight.”
