SHAMROCK ROVERS HAVE added two more new faces for 2015.
Midfielder Gavin Brennan and defender David Webster will both line out for Pat Fenlon’s Hoops next season.
Goalkeepers Barry Murphy and Craig Hyland have also re-signed with Murphy, the club’s 2014 Player of the Year, agreeing a two-year deal.
Brennan, 26, moves to Tallaght following four seasons at Drogheda United while 25-year-old Webster made over 150 appearances for Bray Wanderers since breaking into the senior squad in 2008.
Fenlon said: “I’m delighted to have brought the two lads in and I think they’ll fit in well to the squad that we’re building for next year.
“They’re both still young players but they also have a lot of experience in the league.
“And I’m glad to have completed deals with our two goalkeepers. They both had good seasons this year for us and will be two solid members of our squad for 2015.”
Who s going to play up front now that Shepp & Killer were let go to that shower in Inchicore? Danny North & Sean O Connor? That not good enough. We need to bring in a couple more top strikers. I would’ve thought we were already top heavy with midfielders . Cregg , Finn , McCabe, Fahey , Robinson , Bayly , Ryan Brennan, Robinson & McPhail. Up front is now a priority. Can’t think of anyone other than Fagan I d be hoping to sign.
