Stick with me, kid: ROG retires to become Sexton's coach

The Munster out-half has signed a two-year contract as Racing Metro’s assistant coach.

AS PLOT TWISTS go, this one sounds like rugby just jumped the shark.

Ronan O’Gara will not only retire and take up a coaching job in France, but he will cut his teeth as assistant coach at Racing Metro where he will offer pearls of wisdom to his successor in the Ireland number 10 shirt, Jonathan Sexton.

Make it happen, Jacky Lorenzetti!

UPDATED 11pm: The Irish Examiner have revealed that Lorenzetti has indeed made it happen, meeting O’Gara in London today to offer him a two-year contract at the Paris club.
