SEASON 22 OF The Ultimate Fighter, in which Conor McGregor will feature as a coach, will be available to viewers in Ireland, it has been confirmed.
McGregor, who was recently crowned the UFC’s interim featherweight champion, will coach eight lightweight UFC hopefuls against eight rivals from the USA, who’ll be guided by fellow UFC star Urijah Faber.

Setanta Sports today announced that TUF 22: Team McGregor vs. Team Faber will premiere on BT Sport 2 on Thursday, 10 September, at 4am. Eleven further one-hour shows will be broadcast on Thursdays at 10pm on BT Sport 2 in the following weeks.
“This is great news for all the Conor McGregor fans we have on the Setanta Pack,” said Brian Quinn, Marketing Operations Director at Setanta Sports.
“They won’t have to wait for Aldo to see Conor in action again. They’ll get to see him in 12 shows across September to November. They are also going to see some fireworks between McGregor and Faber.”
Filming for the show began last week and — according to Faber — there has already been plenty of tension between the pair.
We’re looking forward to seeing it unfold and also if any Irish talent has made it on to McGregor’s team, with the cast still to be revealed.
