IT WAS A quiet day on the football transfer gossip side of things yesterday.
That was until Sid Lowe of the Guardian reported that Real Madrid now know that, if they are going to tempt Manchester United to sell David De Gea, then Sergio Ramos needs to be part of the deal.
Given that the Spanish defender has a release clause of nearly €200 million, it doesn’t seem a fair swap.
However, the rumour took an interesting twist when Spanish newspaper AS reported Ramos has made it clear he wants to leave the club after expressing his anger over media leaks designed to make him look bad.
Any sort of swap deal — even a part swap — never seems to happen in real life (sorry Football Manager fans) so this still looks a highly unlikely deal.
However, if it were to happen, who comes out of it with the better deal?
This guy actually could not love getting his face in front of a camera more
