DAVID LUIZ AND Sergio Aguero have settled their differences and put Sunday’s ill-tempered Wembley clash behind them.
Aguero caught the Chelsea defender with a two-footed lunge in the closing stages of Manchester City’s 2-1 FA Cup semi-final win.
The Argentinian striker escaped an FA ban because referee Chris Foy saw the challenge and decided at the time that a free-kick was sufficient punishment.
Aguero later contacted Luiz and apologised for what he described as an “impulse reaction,” with Luiz describing the gesture as a “demonstration of character.”
