YOUR SECOND CAPTAINS podcasts are set to continue, as the Irish Times have agreed an extension to the deal with the team behind the broadcasts.
“The response to The Irish Times Second Captains podcasts has been phenomenal,” says producer Mark Horgan.
“It has been great to be a part of an innovative new approach, and even better to see how our audience has grown.”
Horgan along with Ken Early, Simon Hick, Eoin McDevitt and Ciarán Murphy have been with the newspaper for a year.
The team left Newstalk when a disagreement about the future of the Off The Ball programme came to a head in March last year.
